From ancient ruins to Renaissance villa, I had so much to see on Day 2 in Rome! In this photo though, I was disapproving the cruelty of the original Hunger Games and the gender inequality in the Colosseum seating.
Almost missing the flight, arriving at the wrong address, and being splashed with puddle water, the trip didn’t exactly kick off smoothly. But it only took one look at this amazing city (and a good bottle of wine) and I couldn’t be happier to finally make my acquaintance with Rome.
While there are many travel planning tips and recommendations out there, here are my personal top five to help you keep your sanity and make the trip more enjoyable.
