The weather in Barcelona has been hot and humid.
I really like where we live. It’s in a quiet, completely residential neighborhood. It is right in the middle between the city centre and the university. By now, we are quite familiar with the layout of the metro Lines 5 and 3, the main lines we use to get around the town. Also, to get to the university, there is a direct tram.
The only down side of this flat building is that, the average age of the residents here is likely greater than all three of us added together. Apparently, since the day we moved in, the whole building knows that three “senoritas” moved in to 702.
By the way, Mom, the guy from Germany lied. Barcelona is nothing like what he said it should be. And cosmetics are definitely not cheaper in Europe. In fact, they can cost almost twice as much here. I knew he wasn’t reliable…
Senoritas! Nice! It is good to see that you can get around even though everything is in Spanish.
